Emcee: Miss Zora Phoenix
Zora Phoenix, a live-singing comedy and drag persona extraordinare, hails originally from Kentucky, coming to Portland by way of Southern California. Her philosophy is that while anyone can dress up and mouth the words to a song... it takes someone and something special to truly entertain. Her live vocal performances mixed with her parody and comedy acts have kept her fans entranced and laughing in venues across the city, the West Coast and the nation. In her free time she enjoys underwater basket-weaving, sorting M&M's alphabetically and her side business, PrinterActive Media, which provides small business marketing and consulting.More information about Zora or how to book her at http://www.zoraphoenix.com/
Baby Le Strange
Baby Le'Strange grew up in the dirty steel town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Named after a song from glitter rock icons T. Rex, Baby was destined to take to the stage. At an early age her mother enrolled her in dance lessons, but it quickly became clear that Baby would much rather dance wild and free than follow the rigid rules set by her instructor. During her teen years, Baby was labeled a misfit by her high school guidance counselor. With such a reputation to live up to, Baby set her sights on Rock 'N Roll.
Baby's burlesque style is a combination of three of her favorite things: circus sideshows, glam rock and bubblegum pop. Baby loves to leave the crowd giggling and smiling with her comedic stylings. She proves 'you can be a bad-ass, sexy and positive all in one' For booking information please contact her at baby@babylestrange.com

Boy & Bean!!
Boy and Bean got their start in Washington state in the winter of 2008. Luke and Amber Short began this husband and wife duo with one song, "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon." Luke Short plays guitar and lends his unique harmonies to the group. He has been performing and writing music since the age of fifteen. Boy & Bean are looking forward to the release of their debut album early 2009.
Amber Short was born Amber Clark in Westwood California. She grew up surrounded by black and white film and the warm crackly sounds of the 20's, 30's and 40's thanks to her mother Margie, who was born during the depression. Amber grew up singing in school choirs but alway longed to do the music dearest to her heart. Luke and Amber married in December 2005 and have since worked several odd jobs to make ends meet inlcuding the merchant marines. They are now making an all out effort to make music together. Their inspiration lies in the vocal styles of The Mills Brothers, Ella Fitzgerald, The Boswell Sisters, Bing Crosby, The Andrews Sisters, Louis Armstrong and a host of other legendary musicians. They are currently expanding their set list and looking forward to working on an album together. It's music or bust!
